Celebrating 20 years, Blanket Bay recently introduced the Tasting Room as a unique dining option. Cellaring almost 400 bottles of our favourite wines, the tasting room celebrates the world class wine region of Central Otago in which the Lodge is located. Clad in local stone with a staunch wine theme, this intimate dining space is perfectly suited for a romantic couple yet ideal for a small party of up to eight.
By reservation, one of the regions greatest wine makers hosts a superb menu showcasing produce sourced from the ocean and coastal bays, through lush fertile farmland, finishing in the alpine environment intrinsic to Blanket Bay. This culinary experience may journey from Big Bay seafood to Blanket Bay lamb, with many components introduced along the way.
Marrying diverse regional ingredients into a sophisticated dining experience is cleverly achieved by Chef Mark Sycamore and his team of professionals. Carefully selected, complementing wines accentuate each course, completing the experience.
